Territory Managers Mid-West and Mid-Atlantic

A growth opportunity for Territory Managers in both the Mid-West region and Mid-Atlantic regions of USA.

This position offers an experienced sales professional the opportunity to work remotely in a large geographical territory with an unlimited income potential.

Mid-Atlantic (Virginia, The Carolina's, Tennessee)
Mid-West (Indiana,Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky)

You will be selling high quality filler metals to end users and distributors, promoting solutions ranging from better products, quicker deliveries, robust solution, and a better cost/value relationship. You must be a strong communicator who can work independently and build strong relationships at all levels of an organization from sales up to the CEO.

For over a quarter of a century Exocor has been providing superior filler metal solutions throughout the welding industry that help bring superior results for both end users and distributors in North America. With established distribution centers in Buffalo, NY, Vancouver, Edmonton, and St. Catharines, we currently have two growth opportunities for Territory Managers the United States. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement sales and marketing strategies in support of business plan, to include ongoing customer and territory assessment.
  2. Secure sales through travel and customer interaction, conducting site visits promoting the Exocor brand of products and applying technical knowledge of company products and services to best meet customer needs.
  3. Support development of new sales opportunities and optimize existing accounts to increase product market share.
  4. Gain knowledge of both distributors and end users in given geography and work within strategic framework to best position the Exocor product and service proposition for maximum market penetration.
  5. Penetrate and work closely with industry associations to develop Exocor brand awareness and loyalty, occasionally attending trade shows, meetings and outside group functions.
  6. Working with corporate office, continue to assess and modify where needed, Exocor's product offering and logistical structure for maximum customer service and sales expansion.

Experience:

  1. A minimum of 3-5 yrs. welding related hard goods or automation sales, selling to or through gas distributors preferred. Industrial distribution sales or technical sales of a similar background considered.
  2. Experience developing relationships with fields sales. VP and C-level stakeholders at both distributor and end-user accounts.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage a large amount of opportunities and sales cycles simultaneously
  4. Problem solving and providing consultative approaches to industrial welding application challenges
  5. Ability to gain expand existing territory accounts
  6. Utilization of a company CRM
  7. Ability to coach and train distributor salespeople on product sales
  8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage all aspects of customer experience and selling/marketing process.
  9. College degree desirable; with relevant work history strongly considered.

Travel:

  1. Moderate to extensive for short periods of time (35-50%). This may include international travel, primarily between US and Canada. (must have or be able to attain valid US Passport.
