Territory Manager

Primary role is to manage and grow industrial accounts located in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

With established distribution centers in Vancouver, Edmonton, St. Catharines, Montreal and Buffalo, NY, we currently have a growth opportunity for a Territory Manager in Western Canada. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, your primary role is to manage and grow industrial accounts located in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. You will be called upon to promote our products to both new and existing end users as well as support the efforts of our developed distribution network. Performing welding filler metal demonstrations in conjunction with our distribution partners is a key activity for this position.

You are a dynamic self-starter with excellent communication skills and highly motivated by success. Your ability to weld and perform filler metal product demonstrations is essential in this role. Your skills to effectively prospect, recognize and develop new opportunities until close, make effective use of your time and manage customer relationships are key components to your success. Your ability to accomplish objectives is a direct result of your organizational skills and personal ambitions.

If you are a sales professional who likes variety in a role, developing long term rapport with customers, and enjoys occasional travel this may be a fit for you.

(1) 1 to 5 years outside sales business development experience. This position will require occasional overnight travel.
(2) Industrial sales experience and a technical understanding of welding
(3) Excellent creative problem-solving skills.
(4) Comprehensive applied working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
(5) Practical knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM, and ERP or similar software.
(6) Must possess excellent English verbal and written communication in skills.

This position includes a competitive base salary and a sales incentive program. A motor vehicle or suitable allowance will be provided and generous health care coverage and RRSP package is available.
