7000-A1 E81T1-A1 The addition of 0.50% Mo to this filler metal increases the strength of the weld metal, especially at elevated temperatures, and provides some increase in corrosion resistance; however, it may reduce the notch toughness of the weld metal. This type of electrode is commonly used in the fabrication and erection of boilers and pressure vessels. 81T1B2 E81T1-B2 Designed to produce weld metal for high temperature service and for matching properties of the typical base metals such as ASTM A 335-Pi 1 pipe and ASTM A 387 Gr. 11 plate.
