7018-Mo E7018-A1 The addition of 0.50% Mo to this filler metal increases the strength of the weld metal, especially at elevated temperatures, and provides some increase in corrosion resistance; however, it may reduce the notch toughness of the weld metal. This type of electrode is commonly used in the fabrication and erection of boilers and pressure vessels. 8018-CM E8018-B2 Contain 1.25% Cr and 0.50% Mo as alloy addition.
